Discover the latest developments in plastic packaging. UGent, Centexbel and Howest will showcase what is already possible today through concrete local business cases: from high-quality recycling of flexible packaging and recyclate characterisation to designing more sustainable or reusable packaging. Get inspired by practical solutions to the challenges arising from the new European packaging legislation.
The UGent pilot line is a world first and makes it possible to remove colour and odour from plastic film packaging. Centexbel demonstrates how recyclate can be given new value and how companies can work towards the European targets for recycled content. In addition, Howest’s Circular Solution Lab shows how to design packaging that is future-proof and circular.
After the presentations, there will be an opportunity to network and exchange experiences.
